Creating for earth.
From dyeing clothes in my college bathtub with blackberries, to creating a garden bed that is conducive to fungal growth in my backyard, I have always found a means to combine creation with advocacy for our planet.
Living in the Pacific Northwest of the United States, where I have watched the towering, ancient evergreens become victim to wildfires, to having witnessed the secondhand clothing dumps in Eastern Africa while living in Kenya, I've seen too much of the destruction we are imposing in every corner of the Earth.
My dream is to bring the beauty of simplicity and curiosity back into the lives of us all, powered by the magic of nature.
Day to day you can find me: playing guitar, reading, learning languages, surfing, finding mushrooms in my local forest, rock climbing, backpacking/hiking, and shooting pool.
I had the pleasure of being featured on Brandy’s podcast, For Animals. For Earth. which focuses on highlighting businesses, individuals, and organizations that are positively contributing to animal welfare.
In this episode, I discuss my sustainable fashion line, Violet Revolt.
